Recipe of pani-puri Pani !
Ingredients -
• Podina/ mint fresh 1/2 bunch
• Coriander 1/2 bunch
• Green chillies 4-5
• Onion 1
• Tomato 1
• Lemon juice 2 tbsp
• Garlic 3-4
• Water 4 glasses
• Jaljeera powder 4tsp
• Black salt 1 tsp
• Salt 1/2 tsp
• Jeera powder 1 tsp
• Chat masala 1tsp
• Garam masal, a pinch
• Red chilly powder 1/2tsp
• Pani puri masala 1-2 tsp
• Meethi chutney as per taste
Method
Step 1 - For hari chutney: Blend fresh mint, fresh coriander leaves, green chili, chopped onion, chopped tomato, garlic along with salt in the blender.
Step 2 - Mix in with Water - Collect the coriander paste or chutney in a big bowl. Add about 4 glasses of water or as required.
Step 3 - Add Shiva Organic Spices - Add jal-jeera powder, black salt, jeera/ cumin powder, chat masala, pani-puri masala, garam masala, red chili powder and lemon juice into the water.
For Aloo Masala Stuffing –
Step 1 - Prepare aloo masala: Boil and peel potatoes. Mash and add salt, chaat masala, red chili powder, black salt and cumin powder. Boil the whole moong which has been soaked for an hour. With very little water for 2 or 3 whistles in the pressure cooker. The water should be soaked up by the moong. Add the same masala spices like we added to the potatoes.
Step 2 - Prepare the Platter - Bring the entire Pani-Puri setup together, a bowl full of flavourful masala pani, a plate of delicious aloo masala and the irresistible crunchy puris.
Step 3 - Enjoy with family and friends - The most awaited moment, take one of the puris, make a hole, fill in the stuffing, dip into the masala pani and experience an extreme burst of spices in your mouth.
