  • ¾ Cup Jaggery | Desi Gud ( In Powder Form)
  • 1 Tbsp Gir Cow A2 Ghee
  • Cardamom Powder
  • Water

Method

  • Step 1 - Place a pan over the flame, let it heat, add A2 ghee and heat again
  • Step 2 - Add coconut powder and jaggery powder, roast until smoothly combined.
  • Step 3 - Prepare soft rice dough and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
  • Step 4 - Make small balls out of the rice dough, flatten and fill the coconut, jaggery stuffing

Method

  • Step 1 - Take a pan, add A2 ghee and let it heat
  • Step 2 - Add grated coconut, jaggery powder, cardamom powder, chopped nuts, saute and cook well until combined smooth and let it cool
  • Step 3 - Boil the water adding a pinch of salt and A2 ghee, lower the flame gradually, add the mix of rice and ragi flour, avoiding lumps, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Step 4 - After the mixture is warm enough, smoothly knead the dough
  • Step 5 - Shape the dough into tiny Modaks by stuffing the coconut, jaggery and dry fruits mixture.
